My experience with Artful Framing & Gallery was wonderful! I brought in a damaged and fragile glass photo of my Grandma's from the 1940's and Dilip skillfully prepared different options to save and preserve the photo.  He handled the photo with such care and appreciation --the communication and customer service was unmatched!

I was looking to get a photograph framed and a close friend told me about Artful Framing.  It's a gem of a Takoma Park neighborhood frame shop. Dilip Steth, the owner is fantastic and advised me to decide on what type of frame would work best, mat color and size, and whether to go with a white border around the photograph or not (I met wit Dilip before I had the print made).  I just picked it up today and it looks amazing.  And now I'm thinking about what I'd like to have him frame next.  I'd also like to mention that Mr. Steth is a talented artist himself.  

We bought some art overseas and needed the canvas to be stretched and framed.  Called around several framing places for quotes and Artful Framing had the fairest price.  Whole process was easy and we're excited to hang our piece proudly in our home. Thanks!

I had to have a small art quilt framed and glass replaced that was broken .  Artful Framing did a great job on both.  Proving much needed advice and a quick turn around.  

We've been here a number of times for framing.  Chief among which was my wife's 200 year old sampler.  We've had fantastic  service every time, and we're at the point where we pretty much just follow their framing recommendations.  Their work is very thoughtful and intentional.  For example, they preserved the original backing of the sampler with the names of all the woman in the family back to 1818 in a special pouch design.  I 100% would recommend this place for both the smallest jobs and the most important ones.

The owner has a great eye for the frames.  I've dropped a number of posters and art and relied on his judgement and do not have a single reservation.  I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough.
